During this inaugural year of our implementation of the ACSM’s Certified Exercise Physiologist exam, our students achieved more than double the national pass rate for the exam. HESA majors had an 85% pass rate on the ACSM EP-C, while the national pass rate was 41%. CRUSHED IT!!!!
TCNJ HES Interns continue to impress faculty and internship evaluators with their projects. This year was no different. Below are highlights of students/projects that made a huge impact.

Stan Monak – Summer 2017
Internship site: Robert Wood Johnson Physical Therapy – Will be working in the field and applying to Physical Therapy Graduate School
Impact Project: Invented, fabricated, and implemented a custom physical therapy device for patients: the LEAPS system (Lower Extremity Application and Proprioception System) and plans to patent the device.
Internship site: New Jersey State Police (Health and Wellness). Will be applying for jobs in the field of Fitness after graduation while deciding on a graduate career path. “Experience as many different things as possible, it’s okay if you don’t know exactly what you want to do”
Internship Site: Special Strides (Occupational Therapy). Was accepted to five occupational therapy programs- will attend SUNY Downstate in the fall for a M.S. in OT
